Having a limited time to finish these passes can be a source of stress, and you don’t want that while playing a game!
Fortnite has now 4 ongoing battle passes at all times, so it’s understandable if you have a hard time keeping up with every single one of them. If you are part of the Fortnite crew club, then you own all of them, so it’s only natural that you’d want to finish them all in time. In this article, I will give you some of the tips that have kept me in high levels of the passes every season.
But there’s also no shame in getting Fortnite accounts cheap, there’s lots of content that you just can’t get anymore, I know I missed out on a few! Games are, at the end of the day, supposed to bring joy and not stress, so if that’s what you want to do, just do it!
Tips to Level Up Your Battle Pass in Fortnite
Quests
Let’s start by what’s the most obvious tip I can give you. There are many modes in Fortnite and most of them have their own unique set of quests, everything from Daily, weekly, events, collections, there are plenty of ways to make XP for your battle passes.
If you do 3 daily quests every day, that’s already 90k XP. If there’s any good news when it comes to joining a Fortnite mission late is that you’ll have plenty of weekly quests to complete. These take longer to finish than dailies and are also more difficult, but also provide a lot of XP.
Each of them gives you 30K XP and every 4 of them that you complete you gain an additional 40K. I know plenty of people that flat out ignore these, and I have to keep reminding them. If it seems overwhelming, especially if joining a season late, it’s good to know that you can mark up to 3 of these quests.
They’ll show up on your HUD, actively showing you the progress you’re making in these quests in real time.
There’s also limited time event quests to complete that usually bring not only XP but also some free cosmetics. There was a Cowboy Bebop one this season, and after that an Invincible themed one, and as of writing this article there’s a Mortal Kombat one going on.
Starting with 12 tasks that give you a whopping 30k XP each. That’s a lot! But like I mentioned before these are limited time so you snooze you lose. Give them priority when it comes to finishing tasks.
These quests alone are enough to give you huge boosts in the passes, but let’s also help you in some other ways.
Different Modes
Try out every mode! Rocket racing has plenty of XP waiting for you. After finishing a few races, you probably will have finished some quests and gained a good amount of XP. There’s also the free cosmetics you get each season if you reach high ranks!
OG mode and Reload have their own set of quests you can complete and helps keep the game feeling fresh for you.
Fortnite festival gives you quests and a passive income of XP for the amount of time that you play it. 500 XP per minute with a cap of 200,000 XP per day.
Lego mode has a passive income of 2900 XP per minute playing, granted if you decide to go into the game and just wait the game will kick you out so give it an honest try, you will probably like it!
It’s easy to level up the pass if you keep varying up which mode you play and most of them have quests that are easy enough to finish by just playing the game normally!
Ranked
Most modes, such as Battle Royale, Reload and OG have a ranked mode and if you want an extra amount of XP it’s recommended you try playing it as it gives a boost to every source of XP (except quests these have a set amount of XP you receive from them)
Creative Maps
There’s an inconceivable amount of user created modes and maps that are ready for you to play, and some of these can be an XP goldmine. Although there’s a limit to how much XP you can earn in creative mode which is around 560,000XP per day.
I recommend you try going to forums, YouTube videos or Subreddits to seek out the best XP yielding maps, as some of these have ingenious ways of making you a crazy amount of XP very fast. I didn’t tell you this, but there’s a very handy map called Tik Toker Tycoon that has a pretty nifty trick of making XP, and it has been working for me for a few seasons.
Play with a Friend
Not only does one have more fun if they’re playing with friends but, similar to ranked play, having a friend in your party will yield more XP from most sources. This also makes it easier to complete quests, as some of them will count as complete even if someone in your party completes them for you.
In Conclusion
Just playing the game mindlessly, you’ll probably be able to finish some quests, but to truly take advantage of the system, you need to actively seek the XP out. So, it’s important to keep in mind most of these tips if you intend to finish all the passes.
Keep track of every change, update, and event that comes to Fortnite as they usually come with new quests or activities that give you plenty of XP. If you catch a season early enough, you can even take advantage of “kickstart” quests that will boost you up in levels rather quickly, but that’s not always a possibility.
I actually like this grind myself. I like the feeling of completing different achievements and quests that level up my passes so I can unlock skins. How about you?
